On Sunday I had my audition at the Bluebird Café in Nashville. I had to be in line by 10:30 am and the auditions started at 11am. The order that you play is based on where you are standing in line. I got to the Bluebird at 9:30 and I was between 10 and 15 from the start. The Bluebird has judges in the back of the room grading your performance. You get up and tell your name, where your are from, and the name of your song. Their were fifty performers and it was divided into two groups of twenty-five. Every performer got to play one song, with one verse and one chorus. (about a minute) Lots of very talented musicians, singers, and songwriters. The judges will decide the winners and contact the winners in a month. The winners will then schedule a time to perform on a Sunday night writers round at the Bluebird in about four months. Thanks to everyone for the good luck wishes and prayers. I had a great time. Jim
