I am reading the book by Phil Jackson. Eleven rings. Phil is a legendary NBA coach. He won two NBA championship rings with the Knicks as a player and nine as a coach. He was a coach for the Chicago Bulls with Michael Jordan and the LA Lakers with Kobe Bryant. Early in Phil's career he worked with coach Tex Winter. Tex Winter had a proverb that he often quoted about paying attention to small details. For want of a nail the shoe was lost. For want of a shoe the horse was lost. For want of a horse the rider was lost. For want of a rider the message was lost. For want of a message the battle was lost. For want of a battle the kingdom was lost. And all for the want of a horeshoe nail. How important the small details in life can be. I need to do a better job on details.
