I had an opportunity to sign up for an audition to play the Sunday Night Writer's Night at the Bluebird Café on Sunday night. To sign up to play you either have to live within 100 miles of Nashville or be a Nashville Songwriting International Association or NSAI for short. I am glad I am a member of NSAI. To get to play you had to log on at bluebirdcafe.com by 11 am on January 11, 2014. I was on the computer at 10:30 am. I kept refreshing the website to make sure it would work correctly. I waited until the time on the computer said 11 and waited a couple seconds. I did not know for sure which button to hit. I picked the button the only button available in the top right hand corner where it said tickets. The computer went to the next page and said that you need to pick and amount. I went back to the previous page and their was a quantity key. There was not a quantity key earlier. I picked one and went to the next page. And the event was full. They were picking 70 people to audition and it filled up in less than 30 seconds. Next time I will know that I need to wait to see the quantity selection to pop up. Then go to the second page. This is part of the learning process. I am cool with not getting in. My plans don't always line up with God's plan. He's in charge not me and I am fine with that.
