Today is the bluegrass festival in Holton, Kansas. I have attended this for a number of years. It is the second weekend of June. It is located a couple miles north and east of Holton. It is at a small lake or a big pond. How come a lake sounds better than a pond? It is at a camp ground that has electricity and bathrooms. It has a small stage that is surrounded by shade trees. It is a great place to go and listen to music. Also, there is food. Hamburgers, brats, ice cream and pie. Music and food. Two great combinations. I am planning on doing some guitar playing and singing in the campground. Good times.
