Have you ever noticed that life runs in cycles? Sometimes I have gone through times where nothing ever changes. I get up every day, to go to the same job, to work with the same people, to get the same paycheck, to pay the same bills, and get up the next day and start over again. This cycle can go on for months or even years. I have been writing songs for about ten years. The process started out very slow. Maybe, one song a year. Life has really changed lately. This is a list of some of the things that I have done in the past two weeks in the songwriting business. I played two songs for Major Bob Publishing company. One song was selected as a possible selection. I sent in two songs to get demos made at the recording studio. I have received both of them back. I place one of the new songs on my website. It is called , Paradise. I worked with a co-writer/ mentor on four songs. We finished up one and it is ready to have a demo made. I wrote a new song for the Winfield songwriting contest. It is called Picker's Paradise. I recorded it and sent it in to get an evaluation on it. All of this plus my regular life as an assistant manager at a grocery store working about fifty hours a week. You can see why I haven't done much blogging. Gotta run! Busy! Busy! Busy!
