Yesterday, I traveled to Junction City to help at a grocery store there. Junction City is about an hour from Topeka, I decided to stop by the library and get a book on cd to listen to on the way there and back. I got the book Dream More by Dolly Pardon. It was an enjoyable read. Okay, I guess the correct wording would be listen. She read it in her own voice. She also would sing bits and pieces of her songs. She did do one song from beginning to end, Coat of many colors. That is one of my all time favorite Dolly Pardon songs. I thought the best part of the book was when Dolly shared her thoughts about prayer. It was very encouraging and inspired me to pray more. At the very end of the book she answered questions that she has heard a lot. One of the questions was about her relationship with God. The interviewer asked, Dolly, how is your relationship with God? Dolly replied, "It's good." Then she paused and said, "but we're seeing other people. " Dolly is very witty and I enjoyed her book.
