Today is Father's day. Father's day has always been a good day for me as a father. Father's day can be harder as a child. My Dad died two years ago at the age of ninety-five. I was so blessed that my Dad lived to the age of ninety-five. I remember when I was a senior in high school. My Dad would have been in his late fifties. I wondered how many years he would be around. God blessed my Dad with a long and healthy life. I remember my Dad going to the hospital two times in his life. One time when he broke his leg. Another time when he was having some heart problems and they put him on blood thinners. I guess I am writing this on Father's Day to say, Happy Father's Day, Dad. I miss you and I love you.
