I just finished reading the book by Andy Stanley called How to be Rich. Don't let the title fool you. It is not a book about how to get rich and stay rich. It talks about how we are already rich and we don't even know it. We are so blessed to live in the USA, even with all of the problems that we have these days. Compared to the rest of the world we really are rich. The problem with being rich is that we live like rich people. How do rich people live?  Well most rich people want to hold onto their riches and not watch them fade away. Rich people give a smaller percentage of their riches to charities or churches. This book encouraged me to give  freely of everything that God has given to me freely. It is a great book to read.
