Okay. Everyone know that when you write a song not all of them are gonna be big hits. I try to do my very best on every song that I write. After I have completed a song I get feedback on the song. Usually I will play it for my wife. It I get a positive response I will send it in to get it evaluated. I will also try to play it at a NSAI meeting. If I get good evaluations then I will get a guitar vocal demo done. After I get back the guitar vocal demo then I will start pitching it to publishers. Some songs never make it through all of these steps. Sometimes there is something missing. Maybe the chorus isn't catchy enough. Or maybe the story is lacking a strong beginning, a good transition, or a good ending. The hard part istrying to be objective about your songs. Each song is like your baby.
