Lone Ranger. Why would a guy with the name Lone Ranger get a sidekick named Tonto? If your name is the Lone Ranger why would you need anyone's help? My songwriting has always been alone and by myself. In the last month I have branched out and done more co-writing. I went to an NSAI event in KC and wrote a song with a guy from KC named Shaun. Currently, I am writing a song with Ken Matthiesen from Manhattan. Ken is a great songwriter and it has been a lot of fun. The song is not done yet but it is fun to write with other songwriters. You can check out some of Ken's songs at www.kenmatthiesen.com. it does stretch you and makes you try different ideas and takes songs in directions that you would not go if left to yourself.  Go find yourself a Tonto. Try co-writing you might like it.
