Shawn Mullins wrote a hit song called Lullaby. It was released in September of 1998. It reached #1 on Adult top 40 and #7 on Billboard Top 100. This is a quote from Shawn Mullins - About ten years ago, I had what Dar Williams calls a monster hit. Lullaby and it was. It was like a monster because  I found myself going from places like this, to opening for the Backstreet Boys and En Vogue and Destiny's Child. It was very weird, It was a little surreal for me, I will admit. I was standing up there solo at Madison Square Garden just going, "What am I doing here?"
