I go to church at Topeka Baptist church. We have a night of worship on Sunday nights. We do this twice a year. Once in the spring and again in the fall. I singed up yesterday to play a song this coming Sunday. It worked out great. I am off this Sunday so I didn't have to ask for the day off or trade for a day off. I am on a short vacation that I scheduled in January. The company that I work for requires us to pick our vacation days at the beginning of the year. It is amazing how God works things out. 

     Last time I played at church I played a song I wrote called Just as I am. I used the chorus of the old hymn called Just as I am and added my own verses. The time I played before that I did the song, Long live the King. It is a song about Michael Jackson, Elvis Presley, and Jesus Christ. Three kings. The king of pop, the king of rock and roll, and the King of all kings, Jesus Christ. 

      I am still undecided about what song I will play this time. I have written two worship songs and I might play one of them. The first one is called Be Still and the other is Your Love. I am excited to get to share the songs that God has given to me. It should be fun. Isn't it great when life is fun?
